Hello Friends!

I’m so glad that you’re here! I know you’re probably wondering who I am, so I’ll try to make a long story short haha! My name is Jachele (pronounced like “Michelle” but with a “J”). I am 29 years old and I am married to my wonderful husband, Brian. We are high school sweethearts that have been together for 11 years and married for 4 years in September. Together we have 2 daughters, a 3yr. old and a 1 yr. old, and they absolutely run our home haha! But, we could not imagine life without them. 

Now that you know a little about me I’ll share how I got started in photography. This was actually my husband’s idea, he purchased a camera for his own personal use and ended up asking me if I wanted to take up photography. Now, I’m not going to lie I was hesitant because the only other time I had used a camera was senior year in high school for the yearbook committee. But, I decided to do it! I had just given birth to our second daughter and was feeling quite depressed and overall didn’t know what life looked like for me anymore. I didn’t recognize the woman I saw in the mirror anymore, but when I picked up my camera all of that faded. I was able to release those negative feelings and breathe. There have been plenty of times where I have felt like I am not cut out for this and each time God reminds me that I am more than capable!

Recently, I have been focused on couples and weddings because love is a beautiful thing. Love is strong enough to move mountains in my eyes. Making the decision to let down your guard and allow someone to come in and see you for who you truly are, flaws and all, without judgement take a special level of vulnerability. I love photographing weddings because I understand that type of love. And to be able to provide you with photos that you can look back on 20 years from now and relive the moment is priceless to me.
